苏格兰独立的流行乐队Aberfeldy的第一张专辑《Young Forever》具有经典的Rough Trade风格的所有特点。这张专辑充满了迷人、悦耳的曲调，简单和松弛的歌曲风格是流行音乐所特有的。音乐都是围绕原声吉他和松弛但紧凑的原声演唱来做的，其中点缀着小提琴、风琴、钟琴，还有少量的合成器的声音。但是对每一位Sound on Sound的读者来说，这并没有什么特别之处，这不过是一个很有前途的新乐队在录音室录制的一张专辑。可如果你知道了这是在一个房间、用一个话筒，以独奏的方式录制的，你不会不感到惊讶吧。
